If a car dealer can't find nobody to finance with those that mean i have to retrurn my car?

Lets%26#039;s say I do return the car but do I atleast get my money back, like my downpayment. I only had the car for two weeks and they are full of bull crap.

If they did a %26#039;spot%26#039; delivery with the assumption they would be able to secure financing, then yes, you should get all 100% back. There are risks for dealerships and buyers when there is a spot delivery involved, so in your case if they can not secure financing, then the cards fall in your favor. They can not claim usage fees or anything bogus like that either. Good luck and you have some good answers here.

Yes you have to return the car...and yes you will get your money back. at least you got to drive a new car for 2 weeks.

What are you saying exactly? Did they %26quot;sell%26quot; you teh car and then say.,,, oh by the way, now you need to bring more money?? That happened to me once, so I went back, and said,, %26quot;OK %26quot; and threw the keys at the finance guy and walked out. turns out is was BS after all, b/c I ended up leaving with my car and not paying more money.

Your grammar throws me off. Why would someone sell you a car without setting up financing first? I%26#039;ve never heard of that.

Yes, you need to return the car. Yes you should get your money back but be aware that they may try to get slick and charge you for wear and tear and for usage since you%26#039;ve had it for so long. Regardless, it might take a while to get your money back because they like to stall-they really want to find a way to keep it.

ps-to answer Katy asking why they%26#039;d give you the car without getting the financing....it counts as a sale. They want the numbers. They probably work with second chance financing all the time and they put you in the car becuase they%26#039;re going to do everything they can to make it happen and they figure once you have it you%26#039;ll do whatever it takes to keep it.

This happens far too often. They tell you that you are approved and you drive away. Then the lender starts chekcing out your application and finds something that they do not like. Now you can%26#039;t get a loan. You should be able to return the car and get back any money. Never, ever, ever drive away in a car until the financig is complete! Another trick they like is to send you home in the car for the night so you can make sure you like it and then you can come in tomorrow to do the paperwork. be certain by tomorrow your rate will be higher and or the price will go up. They like to get you driving that car as fast as they can so you will take ownership and become attached. That way, you will most likely take whatever deal they offer you.

Higher risk lenders have to do more work, checking employers, references, and often have an appeal board of some kind that may/may not give final approval. It can take time, while you have a conditional delivery of the vehicle waiting for final approval. You will get the downpayment back, and they will getthe car back.

Don%26#039;t get hurt feelings though, they may be able and willing to get you a car later in the year.

they did everything in their power to try to get you financed.they will give you your downpayment back.if you had paid your bills on time before, then they would not have had trouble getting you financed in the first place

You signed documents (%26quot;bailment agreement%26quot;) when you purchased that said the dealer would try to find financing for you and, if he couldn%26#039;t, you must return the car because the dealer hasn%26#039;t been paid for it. You may be required to pay a %26quot;rental fee%26quot; for the time and miles that you%26#039;ve put on the car.
